HotSpot offers ready to install complete pre-engineered residential
heat recovery pool heating systems for central air conditioners and heat
pumps of 2 to five tons. These systems are typically installed
in less than a day by your local professional HVAC technician. they are not for mini-split systems. For variable speed compressor units, support is limited.
Commercial heat reclaim pool heating systems are available from five to twenty tons. Custom heat recovery applications can be provided up to 200 tons.
Why Titanium?
You won't find lower grade materials like stainless steel or cupronickel
in any of our pool heater exchangers.
Only Titanium can stand up to the corrosive effects of salts
and chlorine in swimming pool water. There is a 10 Year Limited Warranty on titanium heat exchanger coils.
Why PVC For The Outer Body?
All of our titanium heat exchangers are enclosed in a heavy PVC shell or coil. PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is perfect because it is strong and highly durable, and naturally resistant to chlorine. Actually, about 57% of the mass of PVC is chlorine.

titanium coil at the factory in order to simplify
installation.

How It Works
Like a Geothermal Heat Pump, the FPH pool heating system transfers all of the heat rejected from inside your building directly into water, a much more efficient heat transfer medium than air. This can result in substantial electrical savings and reduce your cooling costs, while heating your pool with free energy.
When the pool needs heat and the
air conditioning is running, the heat that is normally
thrown away into the atmosphere is instead transferred
into the pool. When the pool reaches the user-defined
temperature, the system switches back to normal
air-cooled operation.
